Free Web Holding Ltd. is a licensed Maltese company boasting sco Merighi and Carlo Costanzia among its owners. Merighi is the founder of Play2B Ltd. and Goalgaming Ltd. which offered bonuses to victims of Gutshot Poker. Costanzia is one of the founders of Italian company Gioco Digitale and Bwin .
Cake Poker launched in 2006 as the first skin on its own independent network. Other skins including Doyles Room and Sportsbook.com contributed to its rapid growth. However, the exodus of a number of popular skins, payment issues and eventually Black Friday left the network in poor shape.
In 2012 Lock Poker rebranded as WinCake.
