Nevada’s Gaming Control Board has scheduled a public hearing next week for the interactive license application of Treasure Island Hotel and Casino and 888. 4r3ey
The Las Vegas Strip property plans to use 888’s platform to bring online poker to Nevada.
The board meeting will take place on Wednesday 6 and Thursday 7 of March. If given a recommendation, the pair then progress to a hearing with the Nevada Gaming Commission on March 21.
The commission will then decide whether to grant final approval for a license that will allow the applicants to participate in the state’s online poker industry .
Publicly listed 888 Holdings also has an agreement with Caesars Interative Entertainment to received its license.
South Point Casino, the first operator licensed to offer online poker, had hoped to go live by extensions to bring the product to market.
