Maria Ho 3i2vt
It’s been quite the year for Maria Ho, who is ranked as one of the top female players in the world.
Not only has she been signed to Poker Central, she also secured the role of Global Poker League Team Manager for LA Sunset, ran deep in this year’s World Series of Poker Main Event and finished 4th in the WSOP Event #42 $3,000 Shootout No-Limit Hold’em.
Having amassed over $2.6 million dollars in earnings, Ho’s live results include 41 WSOP cashes, 3 WSOP final tables, 5 World Poker Tour cashes and 2 WPT final tables.
Brian Rast 583s37
Brian Rast has also been making headlines this year, winning the 2016 WSOP Poker Players Champion title along with nailing his LA to Vegas cycling prop bet.
After winning his third WSOP gold bracelet this year, he said: “It’s not just tournament results that will place me in history; it’s also playing in the biggest limits. I will play anything for any amount of money. To me, that says a lot more career wise than tournament wins, although that’s what everyone sees.”
Last year, Rast turned a $25k buy-in satellite into a seat at Poker Central’s first Super High Roller Bowl—which he won, walking away with $7.5 million. He has nearly $18 million in lifetime tournament earnings.
Tom Marchese 6s3h55
Last month, veteran ambassadors Hellmuth, Negreanu and Esfandiari took part in Poker Central’s Ask The Pro’s where viewers could win a one-on-one phone call with the stars and ask them anything. We expect to see more cool promotions like this one in the coming months as the new ambassadors take up their roles.
