On episode #61 of the CardsChat podcast we have the pleasure of welcoming Dr. Tricia Cardner, a former Psychology professor turned poker player and coach. Dr. Cardner has earned doctoral degrees in psychology and criminology, and is a licensed psychotherapist. She has been playing and studying poker for several years and offers both free and paid courses on the mental game of poker. She is co-author with Jonathan Little of the books Positive Poker and Peak Poker Performance, with Gareth James of Purposeful Practice for Poker, and a contributor to the book Excelling at No-Limit Hold ‘Em. Additionally, she is co-host of the “Poker on the Mind” podcast with Gareth James. On this show, we get to know Dr. Cardner better and learn how to improve our poker mindset. |
